DSI believes in working on climate change is of paramount importance to address the global environmental crisis. DSI involves taking proactive measures to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to the changing climate. DSI initiatives include promoting renewable energy sources, implementing energy-efficient practices, and reducing carbon footprints. Our organization’s board members are alumni of the Climate Reality Corps USA, and they have conducted numerous training sessions in schools, youth groups, and community-based organizations (CBOs). Sessions were conducted during which young individuals were educated about climate change and its implications, with a particular focus on its impact on Pakistan. In addition, our organization has been actively involved in tree plantation activities, taking advantage of every opportunity to contribute to greening initiatives. These plantations and other related activities are supported by a diverse network of collaborators whose commitment to environmental causes is commendable. Additionally DSI climate change work also involves advocating for policy changes, international agreements, and sustainable practices across sectors. Education and awareness campaigns are conducted to promote individual and collective action towards climate action. Our work on climate change, contributes in safeguarding the planet, protect vulnerable communities, and ensure a sustainable and livable future for generations to come.
